100% life with 100% disability

Diving, skiing, climbing a mountain, or creatively mastering everyday life?

Hardly possible in a wheelchair, or perhaps precisely because of it?

A live photo film presentation about the adventures of Matthias Klei.

You will hear stories about my big and small adventures in everyday life and on my travels, and I will show you how I creatively overcome daily challenges and some of the difficulties I still face in our society.

I would like to give you a very personal insight into the everyday life of a person with a disability.

I will highlight the obstacles that both I and my assistants encounter, explain what tasks an assistant might have, and document what can be overcome and achieved with the right courage and willpower.

I want to encourage all other people, with and without disabilities, to have dreams and to try to live them. It won't always work, but with courage and willpower—and, last but not least, self-confidence—everyone can look beyond their own horizons, or even take a leap.

As I have been fighting for inclusion for many years, there is also a political and social interest behind this presentation.

People with disabilities should not just be tolerated and integrated into society with goodwill; my central aspiration is an active/lively life for ALL people.

Because it is not life in the “disabled world” with workshops and residential homes that represents quality of life, but an active and self-determined life and the implementation of one's own, often very creative, ideas and actions!

The lecture lasts approximately two hours. There will be an opportunity for discussion afterwards.

Dates will be announced on Facebook.
